Dr. Mao is a graduate of the the Duke University School of Medicine, and is a Diplomate with the American Board of Ophthalmology. She performed her advanced residency training in Ophthalmology at the University of Miami’s Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, and was certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1994.
